Marine Concepts were contacted by the University of Southampton who had been advised of our expertise by an engineering lecturer to enquire if we would assist in a student project to build a high speed composite race car for an inter-university challenge.

Working with design and engineering students, Marine Concepts firstly acted as a design and lay-up consultant before CNC building the tooling and then the composite part for the nose cone.
Despite having our logo placed next to Domino’s we never did receive any pizza….
